Just arrived!

Well, after a 5 hour flight to Toronto and a grueling 11 hour connecting flight to Tel Aviv, Patty and I finally arrived in Tel Aviv. The weather is warm and humid (much like Miami) as we had anticipated. Once we touched down and cleared customs, we were shuttled to the car rental place. The lady who drove the bus was very jovial and insisted we stay on her bus until she could deliver us to the front doors of the rental office. Why schlep she said! I had forgotten how aggressive Israeli drivers were as we entered the freeway (I mean race track) toward downtown Tel Aviv. Patty was a little white knuckled, but we arrived at The Bell Hotel about 2 PM. We took a little nap and headed toward the seaside promenade where we had dinner in a little mall across from the beach.  Early to bed tonight. Tomorrow we head to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee.
